By KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Dutch Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra, who is currently staying in a bomb shelter in Kyiv due to Russian missile strikes, said that further support for Ukraine, including military support, is needed in response to the actions of the Russian Federation.
In an interview with CNN on Tuesday, he said it is important to pay attention to "what Russia does, not what it says," and that the rocket attack again demonstrated "Putin’s willingness to resort to criminal methods." "If anything, this is only an enormous motivator to stay standing shoulder to shoulder," Hoekstra commented on the missile strikes.
“There can only be one answer to that. And that is to continue – continue to support Ukraine, continue to deliver weapons, continue to work on justice, continue to work on the provision of humanitarian aid,” added the head of the Dutch Foreign Ministry.
Hoekstra arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday morning to meet with Ukrainian officials.
