Assets of enterprises worth UAH 500 mln owned by Russian oligarch transferred to ARMA

KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The seized corporate rights of a group of enterprises worth UAH 500 million, the ultimate beneficiary of which is the Russian oligarch Miron Gorilovsky, have been transferred to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA).

"At the request of the prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the seized corporate rights of a group of enterprises, one of the largest manufacturers of plastic pipe products in Ukraine, were transferred to the management of ARMA. Property complexes of two pipe plants, 27 vehicles and rights to nine trademarks were also transferred. The total amount of assets transferred is about UAH 500 million," the Prosecutor General’s Office reported on its Telegram channel on Tuesday.

According to the prosecutor’s office, a group of enterprises operated in Ukraine, the ultimate beneficiary of which is a Russian oligarch, they were engaged in the production of polymer pipeline systems for external water supply and drainage networks, gas distribution, hot water supply and heating.

"In addition to Ukraine, the structural subdivisions of firms are located on the territory of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan," the PGO said.

The prosecutor’s office said that the company’s management, acting in the interests of the aggressor country, created trade missions of enterprises in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and organized the sale of plastic pipes, as well as the construction of pipeline networks and water supply on the temporarily occupied peninsula.

"It has been established that during 2020-2021 alone, enterprises exported manufactured products worth UAH 100 million to the Russian Federation," the Prosecutor General’s Office said.

The PGO did not indicate the name of the Russian oligarch, as a source in law enforcement agencies told Interfax-Ukraine, it is Gorilovsky.
