Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day, Russian invaders carried out a massive shelling of the territory of Ukraine, firing more than 100 missiles of various modifications and attack drones. The enemy carried out 43 air strikes and more than 40 attacks from the MLRS on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
"Over the past 24 hours, Russia has launched a massive missile attack on the military and civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. Residential houses of citizens and critical infrastructure facilities of Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Lviv, Khmelnytsky and other regions of our country have been hit," the AFU said on morning summary on Facebook.
According to Ukrainian soldiers’ estimates, the enemy fired more than 90 Kh-101 and Kalibr missiles and more than 10 strike UAVs. According to updated information, 77 cruise missiles, ten Iranian Shahed-136 attack drones and one Orion UAV destroyed units of the Defense Forces. Additional information is being clarified.
In addition, the enemy continued to fire at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements along the line of collision. So, over the past day, the invaders launched 43 air strikes and carried out more than 40 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
