By KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Verkhovna Rada has improved the procedure for including individual benefactors in the register of volunteers.
The adoption of relevant bill No. 8076 was generally supported by 308 deputies at the plenary session on Tuesday, said Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a member of the Holos faction.
The document provides for the abolition of the provision on the obligation to provide certificates from banks in the application with the preservation of relevant information about the details of bank accounts intended for charitable activities.
The bill also proposes to introduce the possibility of submitting documents for inclusion in the Register of volunteers of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) and/or the implementation of measures to ensure national security and deter armed aggression of Russia in both written and electronic form.
