Law enforcers seize assets of Russian company in Kyiv worth UAH 40 mln – National Police

KYIV. Nov 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Employees of the National Police of Ukraine have identified in Kyiv a company registered in the territory of the aggressor country, its core business was sale of fuel and lubricants.

According to a statement on the website of the National Police, the seized and removed fuel has been passed for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine are conducting a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings on the fact of financing the military aggression of the Russian Federation. As part of this investigation, the police identified an enterprise whose ultimate beneficial owner is a citizen of the aggressor state," it said.

Pechersky District Court of Kyiv ruled to seize the Russian company’s fuel and lubricants. The total cost of the seized property is estimated at more than UAH 40 million.

The criminal proceedings launched under Part 3 of Article 258-5 (financing of terrorism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine continue.
