Cabinet allocates another UAH 45.63 mln from state budget reserve fund to Economy Ministry for business microgrants

KYIV. Nov 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was allocated UAH 45.63 million from the state budget reserve fund to the Ministry of Economy for the budget program on providing grants for creating or developing a business, Taras Melnyhuk, a representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, said on the Telegram channel on Friday.

Of this amount, UAH 23.12 million was allocated for the provision of microgrants for the creation or development of one’s own business, and UAH 22.57 million for the provision of grants for the creation or development of horticulture, growing berries and viticulture.

As reported, on October 28, the Cabinet of Ministers similarly allocated UAH 320.95 million for grants for the creation or development of businesses, of which UAH 306.46 million was allocated to provide non-repayable state assistance in the form of grants for the creation or development of processing enterprises, and UAH 14.49 million – to provide grants for the creation or development of horticulture, growing berries and grapes.

Recipients of irrevocable microgrants for the development or creation of new horticulture, berry growing, viticulture and greenhouse facilities can be private entrepreneurs, agricultural companies and farms that own or lease land for a period of at least 25 years.
