Maliuska, Kostin to participate in G7 Justice Ministers meeting in Germany

KYIV. Nov 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine’s Justice Minister Denys Maliuska and Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin will participate in a meeting of the G7 Justice Ministers due in Berlin in late November.

"Federal Minister of Justice Marco Buschmann invited his colleagues from the G7 member states to a meeting in Berlin on November 28-29. It will be the first meeting of justice ministers in such a format," the Justice Ministry of Ukraine said on its website on Tuesday.

The meeting will be focused on the violations of international criminal law committed in Ukraine.

"The discussion is aimed at further improvement of coordination of investigations into these crimes," the ministry said.

European Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders and Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Khan will also join in the meeting.
