Kherson region to receive UAH 10 mln in subventions from Lviv region for infrastructure recovery

KYIV. Nov 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A subvention in the amount of UAH 10 million will be provided to Kherson region for the restoration of infrastructure from the budget of Lviv region, the press service of Lviv Regional Military Administration has reported.

These funds are needed to restore the infrastructure and material and technical base of budget-funded institutions and municipal enterprises of the region, damaged due to Russian aggression, as well as to purchase building materials for priority repair work at these facilities.

Later, Head of Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytsky in his Telegram channel called on other regions and amalgamated territorial communities of the country "to join the financial and humanitarian assistance to Kherson."

He said that from the first trucks that Lviv region sent as humanitarian aid to the de-occupied Kherson region, food and essential goods had already been distributed among people.

"Local residents were given food, heating devices and other things that people need, given that the enemy, when it fled, almost completely destroyed the water, gas and road infrastructure," Kozytsky said.
