Education Quality Service presents information and analytical system EvaluEd

KYIV. Nov 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Service for the Quality of Education presented the EvaluEd information and analytical system.

"A year ago, we set out to implement the EvaluEd information and analytical system by 2025. Today, this system has been tested in teacher certification and tested in a sample of schools for self-assessment of educational and managerial processes. We have already received confirmation of the practicality and relevance of the educational community. After all, EvaluEd is not about educational statistics, but about the real state of affairs in educational institutions," the press service quoted head of the State Service for the Quality of Education Ruslan Hurak.

It is noted that thanks to EvaluEd, the procedures for conducting institutional audits, self—assessment of educational institutions and certification stages of teaching staff will be improved in the near future, and in the future – measures of state supervision (control) and analysis of the activities of local governments to ensure the quality of education in communities.

According to the report, the system is constantly available online and is open not only for analysis tasks, but also for timely updating of data by verified users.

Currently, a third of general secondary education institutions are registered in it, and the data is constantly being updated and updated.

The department clarified that EvaluEd digitalizes and automates the process of institutional audit at the school.

"Thanks to a specially developed module, both external experts and the school will be able to enter the data obtained during the audit in real time, analyze them and prepare conclusions and recommendations without the involvement of extraneous online tools. The survey of students, parents, teachers and the study of the results will also pass through the system, significantly saving time resources and ensuring objectivity," the message says.

On the basis of EvaluEd, a module will be available for a simple and quick self-assessment of the school, in particular, the director will be able to: determine the quality of management and educational processes without spending significant effort; track the dynamics of each aspect of the educational process; evaluate the effectiveness of certain management decisions.

In addition, according to the results of the self-assessment, the head will be able to compare his institution with others, having access to generalized data both across the country and in the context of a specific region or community.

"Thanks to the array of data collected based on the results of audits, EvaluEd will become a unique database on the state of the quality of educational activities of schools, a source of information for managers of different levels, scientists and other interested parties," the Education Quality Service believes.
