Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Pension Fund of Ukraine has completed the preparation of information for pension payments in de-occupied Kherson, almost 11,000 pensioners will receive pensions through Ukrposhta branches, for which UAH 255.7 million has been allocated, the press service of the Ministry of Integration reported on Thursday.
"Each pensioner will be paid the amount of funds, taking into account the accumulated pensions from July 2022," the message says.
It clarifies that Kherson residents began to receive the first pension payments last week.
"Currently, payments are made by Ukrposhta, which has already opened six branches in the liberated city. One of them is the central one, which will make it possible to ensure stable pension payments not only in the de—occupied city, but also in the region as a whole," the department summed up.
