Zelensky holds regular meeting of Supreme Commander's HQ

KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters on Thursday, the press service of the head of state has reported.

"The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the commanders of the troops of operational directions reported on the current situation at the front, separately informed about the actions in Donetsk direction. The reports of the intelligence chiefs on the enemy’s plans for the near future were also heard," the report says.

It notes that the participants of the meeting analyzed the provision of the Defense Forces with equipment, weapons and ammunition, as well as the actual needs of the troops for the winter period.

In addition, the members of the HQ reviewed the progress of the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system and the elimination of the consequences of recent Russian missile strikes. Separately, they focused on the issue of ensuring the stability of communications in war conditions, in particular, by switching to autonomous power supply.

"Work was also continued to protect critical infrastructure facilities from Russian attacks. In this context, the need to strengthen cooperation with Ukraine’s partners for the formation of effective air defense is emphasized," the President’s Office emphasizes.

It clarifies that the meeting was attended by: Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, Head of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky and commanders of troops of operational directions.

Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, other members of the government, heads of law enforcement agencies and law enforcement agencies also joined the HQ meeting.
