Yermak, Sullivan discuss Ukraine's support for winter

KYIV. Nov 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan discussed Ukraine’s support for the winter period.

"As part of the ongoing dialogue, Head of the Office of the Head of State Andriy Yermak had a phone conversation with National Security Adviser to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan," the press service of the President’s Office said on Wednesday.

"Yermak briefed his interlocutor about the operational situation at the front, as well as about the possible steps Russia is preparing to prolong the terror against the civilian population of Ukraine. The sides discussed the provision of support to our state to ensure the passage of the winter period.

Yermak expressed gratitude to the United States for supporting the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program launched by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on November 26.

He said the implementation of this initiative will help the countries of Africa and Asia, which are on the verge of starvation due to Russia blocking the export of Ukrainian food.
