By KYIV. Nov 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Viacheslav Bohuslayev, the President of Motor Sich, has been dismissed from his post, while Oleksiy Nikiforov has been appointed general director of the company by order of the Defense Minister of Ukraine, according to the website of the Ministry of Defense.
"On November 28, 2022, by the order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, amendments were made to the charter of PJSC Motor Sich, on the basis of which the enterprise operates. In addition, the powers of members of the supervisory board, the chairman and members of the board of directors were terminated ahead of schedule. Also, the powers of president of the joint-stock company Viacheslav Bohuslayev were terminated and he was dismissed from the position," the report says.
New members of the supervisory board and its chairman, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Ihor Fomenko, who has already held the first meeting, have been elected. Roman Konovalov, Serhiy Korzh, Yuriy Paschenko and Yuriy Shapoval also joined the newly formed supervisory board of the enterprise.
In addition, all changes contained in the unified state register are registered.
"Now the strategic enterprise will work 24/7 to meet the defense needs of the state. The potential of the workforce will be fully used. Motor Sich will develop and manufacture products in the interests of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Ministry of Defense stressed.
