Poroshenko with volunteers open humanitarian center in Kherson

KYIV. Dec 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A humanitarian center has been opened in Kherson, organized by the efforts of the Poroshenko Foundation, NGO Sprava Hromad (Case of Communities) and NGO Res_Publika. Brothers in Arms.

"The large tent has electricity for charging mobile phones and power banks, a large stove for heating, you can drink tea or coffee," the press service of the European Solidarity party said.

The fifth president of Ukraine, MP Petro Poroshenko, during a trip to Kherson, met with citizens who survived the Russian occupation. "This is a real Solidarity Point. When we all keep unity, when we are together, we will definitely liberate every piece of Ukrainian land. They say this in Kherson – and they know what they are saying," he said.

It is noted that the Poroshenko Foundation and the NGO Sprava Hromad bought two ovens for baking bread, the necessary equipment and a powerful generator for Kherson residents. The bakery is planned to be launched in a week, when a well for water will be made and equipment for its purification will be installed. The bakery will also receive several tons of flour, sugar and yeast.

Half of the bread is intended for units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the second half will be distributed free of charge to Kherson residents.
