Fifteen missiles shot down in sky over Odesa, Mykolaiv and Cherkasy regions – Pivden task force

KYIV. Dec 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Eight rockets fired by the occupiers were shot down in the sky over the Odesa region on Monday, six – over Mykolaiv and one more – over Cherkasy, the Telegram channel of Odesa City Council reports, citing data from the operational command South (Pivden).

"As a result of a massive missile attack, 15 missiles were shot down in our area of responsibility. Eight missiles were shot down over Odesa region, one over Cherkasy region, the rest – over Mykolaiv region," the report says.

Two civilians were injured in Odesa region, they received assistance. Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the attacks.

As reported, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a massive missile strike by the Russian occupiers on Ukraine on Monday, shooting down more than 60 of the more than 70 missiles fired.
