Zelensky: Only dismantling Russian terrorist capabilities can bring peace

KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said only the dismantling of Russian terrorist capabilities, the liberation of Ukrainian land from occupation and bringing Russian murderers to justice can bring peace.

In his video statement on Monday, he said Russian terror is once again affecting neighboring states. This time is Moldova.

"There are blackouts in Moldova again. And this once again proves that Russia’s ability to carry out such massive terrorist strikes is a threat not only to Ukraine, but to our entire region. At a minimum. When one terrorist destabilizes the lives of the others, this is a joint task: stop terror," Zelensky said.

He said "with today’s missile attack, Russia marked another anniversary of the signing of the Budapest Memorandum."

"A document whose fate provides answers to many current questions about Russia. Simply signing something with these terrorists will not bring peace. new war," he said.

"That is why a fundamental continuation of the existing policy of conscientious states of the world is needed: only the dismantling of Russian terrorist capabilities, only the liberation of all our land and only bringing the killers to justice can give peace. I believe we will come to this," the president said.
