By KYIV. Dec 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas says the European Union will continue to help Ukrainian culture.
At the Creative Ukraine forum on Wednesday, Maasikas said cultural and creative ecosystems in Ukraine, like other sectors of the economy, have undergone significant destruction. He also said Europe support cultures and cultural projects, so that European Union will help Ukrainian culture.
According to him, today more than 1,000 Ukrainian cultural figures and hundreds of museums and cultural centers have received support from the start of a full-scale war in the amount of more than EUR 5 million.
The ambassador said the EU will continue to provide support to Ukraine in this sector.
