Loan portfolio of Ukrainian banks down by 1.4%, NPL up by 0.4% in March 2022 – NBU

KYIV. May 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The loan portfolio of Ukrainian banks in March 2022 decreased by 1.4% to UAH 1.131 trillion, while the volume of non-performing loans (NPL) increased by 0.4% to UAH 306.28 billion, reports say on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Thursday.

According to it, the share of non-performing loans in the country’s banking system rose to 27.07% in March from 26.58% a month earlier.
