Zelensky doesn’t believe that Putin ready to use nuclear weapons

KYIV. Dec 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin can use nuclear weapons.

"I saw him, I saw his desire to live. He loves life. He even prefers to sit at this incredibly long table, he is afraid of catching COVID-19 or another infection," Zelensky said in an interview with the famous comedian David Letterman, released on the Netflix platform on Monday.

According to Zelensky, "this indicates that he is afraid of death. I’m not sure he’s ready to use nuclear weapons. Because they understand that if he presses the button, the next step will be the response of any other country aimed at him."

Answering the question of what he will do in the future, Zelensky said: "I will definitely be president until our victory. I’m not thinking further yet. I really want to go to the sea. Just at the sea, to rest after our victory. And have a beer."
