By KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky proposed to the leaders of the G7 countries to convene a special summit – the Global Peace Formula Summit in order to decide how to implement the Ukrainian peace formula initiated by him.
"At the G20 summit in Indonesia, I proposed a Ukrainian peace formula – ten clear points that are quite realistic to implement. For peace – for peace in Ukraine, Europe, the world. I propose to convene a special summit – the Global Peace Formula Summit – to decide how and when we will be able to implement the points of the Ukrainian formula for peace," Zelensky said, speaking via video link to the leaders of the G7 countries on Monday.
He also invited the heads of the G7 states to show their leadership in the implementation of the peace formula – In general or its specific points.
Later, in a video statement, the President of Ukraine said the Global Peace Formula Summit was planned for this winter.
"Whatever the aggressor is not going to do – when the world is truly united, then it is the world, and not the aggressor, that will determine how events will develop. We offer this to everyone who appreciates the UN charter and just peace," he said.
