Canadian-Ukrainian Foundation to donate 50 lighting towers to Ukraine – ambassador

KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Canadian-Ukraine handed over 15 generator lighting towers to Ukraine for the repair of energy facilities at night.

According to Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Yulia Kovaliv, in total, 50 such towers are planned to be handed over before the new year.

"Our energy heroes are working 24/7to repair damaged infrastructure and return light to homes. Here are 15 generator lighting towers, each 8 meters high, designed to carry out repairs to energy facilities at night, have already arrived in Ukraine," Kovaliv said on Facebook on Tuesday.

‘In total, our friends and partners from the Canada-Ukraine Foundation will hand over 50 such installations in the New Year so that our power engineers can work day and night… Thanks to the CUF team for their support," the diplomat said.
