France jointly with IAEA to provide equipment for Pivdennoukrainska NPP – Foreign Minister

KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – France, together with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will provide equipment to help the Pivdennoukrainska nuclear power plant (NPP), Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna has said.

"France, together with the IAEA, will provide equipment to help at the Pivdennoukrainska nuclear power plant. France will also finance several buildings to accommodate refugees from Mariupol, contribute to demining, provide medical supplies, which corresponds to the stated needs of Ukraine," Colonna said at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in Paris.

She also said that France would provide school buses so that children could get to schools.

"These are the main areas of assistance of France – this is state assistance. In addition, there is assistance from NGOs, communities, entrepreneurs who attended the conference," the French Foreign Minister said.
