KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – More than 230 shelling attacks on the territories of Sumy and Chernihiv regions were registered in November, Spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko has said.

"In November, more than 230 shelling attacks on these territories were registered. Four times the strikes were made from the air. The planes did not cross Ukraine’s air space," he told a press briefing at the Ukraine Media Center in Kyiv on Tuesday.

According to Demchenko, the enemy has mounted more than 70 attacks on these territories since the beginning of December.

"Every day borderline territory comes under shelling. The enemy mainly uses mortars and howitzers. Also, shelling attacks from multiple launch rocket systems have become more frequent and reached further distances. The enemy also actively uses drones to drop explosives on the Ukrainian defense positions," he said.
