Ukrainian Defense Forces preparing for different scenarios in coming months in country’s east – Zaluzhny in talk with commander of US Armed Forces in Europe

KYIV. Dec 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhny, has held a conversation with Supreme Commander of the NATO Joint Armed Forces in Europe and Commander of the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, discussed the situation and the needs for weapons and equipment.

"We exchanged assessments of the strategic situation with the Supreme Commander of the NATO Joint Armed Forces in Europe and the Commander of the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli. We discussed our needs for weapons and equipment," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Zaluzhny stressed that "making every effort to stabilize the situation in the east, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are preparing for different scenarios in the coming months."
