By KYIV. Dec 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – France will send more Caesar self-propelled artillery mounts to Ukraine in the first quarter of 2023, French President Emmanuel Macron said.
"In recent days, France has sent more weapons, missile launchers, Crotale (air defense), equipment to Ukraine in addition to what we have already done," Macron said in an interview with French television channels TF1/LCI.
"We are also working with the Minister of the Armed Forces (Sébastien Lecornu) to supply usable weapons and ammunition again in the first quarter of 2023 so that Ukrainians can protect themselves from bombing," Macron said.
Planned deliveries include new Caesar mobile artillery mounts, but Macron did not give exact numbers as "it depends on negotiations with Denmark."
