By KYIV. Dec 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past 24 hours on Sunday, December 25, the Russian invaders launched one air and five missile strikes, carried out more than 40 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a morning report on its Facebook page on Monday.
In particular, in Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the situation remains unchanged, the enemy maintains a military presence along the state border, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been found.
In Siversk direction, enemy shelling was recorded in the areas of the settlements of Vintorivka, Manukhivka, Ryzhivka and Vorozhba in Sumy region.
In Slobozhansk direction, mortar and artillery attacks were fired at the areas of the settlements of Strilka, Starytsia, Zemlianka, Ustynivka, Olkhovatka, Chuhunivka, Novomlynsk and Kamianka of Kharkiv region.
In Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy inflicted fire damage on the areas of more than 25 settlements. Among them are Dvorichna, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka and Berestove in Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka, Ploschanka, Dibrova in Luhansk region and Yampolivka and Torske in Donetsk region.
On Bakhmut and Avdiyivske directions, the enemy fired at the positions of our troops in areas of more than 20 settlements. In particular, these are Berestove, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Ozarianivka, New York, Avdiyivka, Krasnohorivka and Maryinka of Donetsk region.
In Novopavlivsk direction, Vuhledar, Vesela Novosilka and Vremivka of Donetsk region were exposed to fire.
More than 25 settlements were shelled in Zaporizhia direction. Among them are Huliaipole, Krasne, Stepne, Mali Scherbaky, Scherbaky of Zaporizhia region.
In Kherson direction, the enemy continues shelling settlements along the right bank of the Dnieper River. The civil infrastructure of the settlements Respublikanets, Tiahinka, Zelenivka, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Sadove and Kherson suffered.
