By KYIV. Dec 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine is becoming a leader in the digital transformation of the state and society, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said in an address to the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday.
"Just one example – the number of Starlink terminals in Ukraine – clearly shows the superiority of civilization over terror and barbarism, we will reach the number of more than 30,000 in the near future," he said.
"We are already becoming – and we will become! – a leader in the digital transformation of the state and society. I think there is no need to say separately what we have achieved in the field of digitalization and communications. I can only say that an achievement of such weight allows us to turn the digitalization experience of our country into one of foreign policy instruments," Zelensky said.
He also vowed to "complete the total digitalization of all permits and public services in Ukraine. This is about anti-corruption, and about the stability of our state institutions. And by spreading this experience of transformation around the world, we will provide Ukraine with new friends, new alliances, new political and economic opportunities."
