By KYIV. Dec 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The UK will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with Sea King helicopters as part of its ongoing support, the UK Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday on its Twitter account.
As specified in the message, ten Ukrainian crews have already been trained on Sea King, expanding their search and rescue capabilities.
The UK produces, in particular, Westland WS-61 Sea King helicopters, a modification of the eponymous American helicopter, also known as the Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King.
