By KYIV. Dec 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Thursday, December 29, Russian invaders used missiles and kamikaze drones during another massive shelling of Ukraine, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"In total, according to preliminary data, the occupying forces used 69 missiles. The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 54 enemy cruise missiles," the message on the Telegram channel says.
In addition, at night, in the eastern direction, air defense forces destroyed 11 Shahed-131/136 loitering munitions.
According to the Air Force, a massive missile attack began around 7.00. The enemy attacked Ukraine with X-101/X-555 air-launched cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from Volgodonsk in Rostov region and the northern region of the Caspian Sea, as well as with Kalibr cruise missiles from ships in the Black Sea.
In addition, up to six launches of X-22 and X-32 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, and two launches of X-31P anti-radar missiles were carried out.
The invaders also used S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles at the infrastructure facilities of the front-line cities.
