Some 28,000 Ukrainian enterprises involved in mobilization tasks – PM

KYIV. Dec 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said that 28,000 Ukrainian enterprises have been involved in the implementation of mobilization tasks.

"Business has demonstrated incredible adaptability, patriotism and social responsibility. Thousands of enterprises work for the army and perform the most important tasks for the country in various areas. If we talk about numbers, 28,000 Ukrainian enterprises have been involved in mobilization tasks," Shmyhal said at the last regular in the current government meeting on Friday.

The prime minister said that the government also supports business, in particular, UAH 70 billion was issued to support business under the 5-7-9% preferential loan program, and more than UAH 45 billion was issued under the portfolio guarantee program.

"From the beginning of the war, tax benefits and incentives were introduced, such as a single tax rate of 2%. The government canceled almost all business inspections. A declarative principle was introduced for the vast majority of permits and licenses," Shmyhal said.

More than 700 enterprises have been relocated, and this has saved thousands of jobs.

"We have launched a unique grant program for business – e-Robota. And during these months it showed real success. More than UAH 2 billion in allocated grants, thousands of new businesses," the prime minister said.

In addition, according to him, 59 industrial parks have already been created with the support of the government.

"We will continue to support the agricultural sector, which has also shown incredible resilience. We gave UAH 80 billion to 38,000 of our farmers during these months of the war. We helped to timely carry out the most difficult sowing campaign in the history of Ukraine. Thanks to this, we have already harvested more than 60 million tonnes of crops. And Ukraine definitely provided itself with food for the next year," he said.
