By KYIV. Jan 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – More than 20,000 Ukrainian servicemen were trained in 2022 thanks to partner states, training is being carried out on the territory of 17 European countries, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny said.
"The training of personnel and combined arms units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is carried out on the territory of 17 European countries. In general, thanks to the partner states, more than 20,000 military personnel have been trained in 2022," he said on his Telegram channel.
Zaluzhny informed that more than 1,000 seriously wounded Ukrainian servicemen were sent for treatment and rehabilitation to the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Germany, Italy, Romania, the USA and Israel.
