By KYIV. Jan 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the loss of Russian invaders in the amount of 500 people killed and wounded as a result of the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday, December 31, in Kherson region.
"The enemy continues to suffer losses. On December 31, fire damage was confirmed by units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on enemy manpower and military equipment in the area of the settlement of Chulakivka, Kherson region. The enemy’s losses amounted to about 500 soldiers, wounded and dead," the morning report says on Tuesday.
The General Staff noted that on January 1, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out fire damage on the personnel of the Russian invaders in the area of the village of Fedorivka, Kherson region.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation has carried out 13 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, as well as 5 strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.
Also, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders shot down an enemy Ka-52 helicopter and three Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAVs.
In addition, over the past 24 hours, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces fired at the enemy’s manpower and military equipment concentration area, as well as the enemy’s radar station.
