By KYIV. Jan 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day, on January 2, the Russian invaders shelled the territory of Kherson region 79 times using artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Yaroslav Yanushevych said.
"Over the past 24 hours, two people were killed due to Russian shelling, nine residents of Kherson region were injured of varying degrees of severity," Yanushevych said on his Telegram channel.
He said Kherson was attacked by the Russian army 32 times. Enemy shells hit a car market, a public utility, and residential buildings.
