Govt allows import of donated drones without guarantee letters

KYIV. Jan 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed the import of donated drones without letters of guarantee in wartime.

Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk said on the Telegram channel that the government took this decision at a Tuesday meeting.

The decision establishes that drones and their parts for civilian purposes and dual use provided by donors (under the law of Ukraine on humanitarian aid) in wartime shall be passed through the customs on the border of Ukraine via submitting a paper or an electronic version of a declaration filled in by a person transporting the relevant goods, without applying measures of non-tariff regulation of foreign economic activity and issuing letters of guarantee.
