By KYIV. Jan 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Wednesday, Russian invaders fired on Nikopol from heavy artillery, as a result of which one person was wounded, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Valentyn Reznichenko has said.
"The Russians again covered Nikopol region with fire. They hit Nikopol from heavy artillery. They previously wounded one person. This is a 64-year-old man. He is in the hospital with severe chest injuries," Reznichenko said in Telegram.
He said the shelling led to the fire of a private house, which had already been eliminated by firefighters.
"Up to 20 houses were mutilated. The consequences of the attack are still being clarified," Reznichenko said.
