By KYIV. May 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees on dismissal of commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Halushkin and the appointment of Ihor Tantsiura to this position.

By Decree No. 336/2022, Halushkin, who led the Territorial Defense Forces from the moment of creation, is dismissed from his post.
"To appoint Major General Ihor Ivanovych Tantsiura as Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Decree No. 337/2022 says.
Tantsiura previously served as Chief of Staff – Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
