Russian troops lose about 27,700 personnel during Ukraine’s invasion – AFU General Staff

KYIV. May 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine on February 24 to May 16, Russian troops have lost about 27,700 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24 to May 16 approximately amounted to: personnel – about 27,700 (plus 300) people were eliminated, tanks ‒ 1,228 (plus eight) units, armored combat vehicles ‒ 2,974 (plus 16) units, MLRS – 195 units, air defense equipment – 89 units, aircraft – 200 units, helicopters – 165 (plus one) units, operational-tactical level UAVs – 427 (plus 11), cruise missiles – 97 (plus two), ships/boats – 13 units, motor vehicles and tankers – 2,101 (plus 14) units, special equipment – 42," the Facebook post says.

The enemy suffered the biggest losses over the past day in Bakhmut and Zaporizhia directions.
