KYIV. May 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine does not see a strong Russian army on the battlefield and a strong Russian society, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
“When we look at Russia, we see a demotivated country on the battlefield. This is important. We don’t see a strong army on the battlefield. We don’t see a strong society that would support their movement forward. We see different radical groups that are waving there something nuclear and threaten to do something against our country,” Zelenskyy said at a press conference with the Prime Ministers of Belgium and the Netherlands in The Hague.
“This is not an interesting topic,” the president said, adding there is nothing to communicate with such people.
According to Zelenskyy, such people in Russa “need to think about how to change the climate in their own country, their regime, after which they will be able to prepare their society for any diplomatic opportunities to end the war.”
“But, first of all, we must de-occupy our country and reach our borders,” he said.
