KYIV. May 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The project of an apart-hotel as part of the modern multifunctional complex Kristal Plaza (Lviv), which is one of the members of Ukrainian Hotel & Resort Association (UHRA), is at the final stage of signing a franchise agreement with the international hotel chain Louvre Hotels Group, the press service of the UHRA has told Interfax-Ukraine.

“We at Louvre Hotels Group believe in the rapid recovery of the Ukrainian hotel market after your Victory, primarily Lviv, Kyiv, Bukovel and Ivano-Frankivsk, then Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhia. Therefore, in this difficult time, our group at the end of last year made a conscious decision at the level of the board of directors to support Ukrainian hotel developers with their contribution to projects. We offer strong and promising brands from our portfolio, as well as powerful global booking and guest loyalty systems that keep pace with global technology trends and, without a doubt, add value to such investment projects by providing occupancy and daily rates for hotels,” Development Manager of the Louvre Hotels Group (France) Philippe Campagno said during his visit and participation in HOTEL FORUM_UA in Lviv.

He said that the first of the Louvre Hotels Group projects in Ukraine will be an apart-hotel as part of Kristal Plaza. Its opening is planned for the end of 2023 under the Tulip Residences brand.

Kristal Plaza is located in an actively developing area of Lviv, near IT-park, LvivTech.City, and Ukrainian Catholic University. The Kristal Plaza includes class A offices, an apart-hotel with co-working space and a gym, a cafe with access to a large city square. The apart-hotel with 73 rooms is located between the 2nd and the 8th floor. The project’s developer is the Galician Building Guild (GBG). The building was put into operation in April 2023.

According to the HotelMatrix benchmark tool, the occupancy of Lviv hotels in the first quarter reached an average of 53% in the market and has been demonstrating a monthly growth of 2-3% since August 2022. According to the UHRA, the occupancy rate of Lviv hotels did not fall below the level of 2021, while ADR in hryvnia equivalent remained at the same level.
