By KYIV. May 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree on the creation of two more military administrations in Kherson region.
Corresponding decree No. 268 was published on the President’s website.
“In pursuance of the Law of Ukraine ‘On the legal regime of martial law,’ I decree: to form Vynohradivsky rural military administration of Kherson district of Kherson region; Skadovsky urban military administration of Skadovsky district of Kherson region,” the text of the decree says.
The head of state also instructed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of Kherson Regional State Administration to implement measures related to the formation of military administrations in accordance with the law “On the legal regime of martial law”.
The decree became effective on May 10.
