After morning shelling of Cherkasy region, two thirds of region left without power supply, four people wounded – local authorities

KYIV. Oct 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – About two thirds of the territory of Cherkasy region was left without power supply as a result of the morning shelling of the region by Russian invaders, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets said.

"We have two arrivals at one of the critical infrastructure facilities in the energy sector, which, unfortunately, has de-energized two-thirds of our region," Taburets said on the air of the national telethon on Monday.

He also said as a result of the shelling, four people were wounded.

According to Taburets, at the moment the fires at the facility have been completely eliminated, the power engineers have begun work to remove the consequences of shelling and resume power supply in the region.
