By KYIV. May 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – All enemy missiles and UAVs that attacked Kyiv on the night of Thursday, May 4, were shot down by the AFU air defense, previously without casualties and destruction, said head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration Serhiy Popko.
“Another air attack of Kyiv. For the capital, it is already the third of the four days of May! Our city has not experienced such a dense intensity of strikes since the beginning of this year! That night, the aggressor again launched a comprehensive air strike on the capital. (In the capital, the air raid siren lasted for more than three and a half hours),” a message posted on the Telegram channel of Kyiv Regional Military Administration on Thursday morning says.
Popko noted that the occupiers had attacked Kyiv with the use of barging ammunition of the Shahed type and missiles, probably of a ballistic type. The type of missiles used will be finally determined after the examination of the remnants.
“According to preliminary information, all enemy missiles and UAVs were destroyed in the airspace of Kyiv by our air defense forces! The data is being updated. According to operational information, there are no civilian casualties and destruction of residential facilities or infrastructure,” the Administration emphasized.
