All Ukrainian regions instructed to help Kherson region – President's Office dpty head Tymoshenko

KYIV. Nov 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The settlements of Kherson region liberated from Russian occupation are completely plundered and in need of assistance, all regions of Ukraine have received instructions to join its provision, Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.

"After a trip to de-occupied Kherson region, one thing became clear – our people there need a lot of help. The Russians not only killed, mined, but also robbed all the cities and villages. There is practically nothing there," Tymoshenko wrote on Telegram on Friday.

"In order to provide the population with everything necessary as soon as possible, we have identified three main areas that will help Kherson region. These are Mykolaiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, which already provide humanitarian assistance. Their representatives deliver food, water, medicines, fuel, generators, equipment (construction and fire equipment, ambulances, buses)," the deputy head of the President’s Office said.

According to Tymoshenko, all regions also received tasks to provide the necessary assistance, formed by Kherson regional military administration. Also, the heads of regional military administrations of all regions of Ukraine should visit Kherson region in the near future.

"Yesterday, Volyn and Zakarpattia regions have already sent humanitarian aid. In addition, all regions are forming teams of people with travel equipment to Kherson region to restore the entire infrastructure – energy, gas, water, road, etc.," he said.

According to the Deputy Head of the President’s Office, work has already been coordinated to restore power supply in the region. "Our ambitious goal is for the light to appear this week," Tymoshenko said.
