KYIV. Oct 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Since the beginning of the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine, 7,730 Ukrainians with injuries caused by shelling and explosions received medical care within the framework of the medical guarantees program, according to the National Health Service of Ukraine.
More than 6,500 people received such medical care in the regions where active hostilities continue and in the neighboring territories, it said.
According to the electronic healthcare system, the majority of patients with injuries caused by hostilities received treatment in the clinics of Dnipropetrovsk (3,283 patients), Zaporizhia (923), Cherkasy (837), Kharkiv (543) and Donetsk (320) regions.
The National Health Service of Ukraine also said that treatment of injuries caused by hostilities within the framework of the medical guarantees program is provided for free.
