Another six Russian military notified of suspicion for threatening with weapons, looting civilians in Kyiv region

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian law enforcers have identified and notified another six Russian military of suspicion of mistreating and robbing civilians during the occupation in Kyiv region, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) has said.

"Under the procedural guidance of the PGO, six Russian servicemen were identified and notified of suspicion of being involved in violating the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," it said on the Telegram channel on Tuesday.

According to the PGO, in March 2022, during the occupation of the village of Bohdanivka in Kyiv region, Russian soldiers mistreated the civilian population, threatening them with weapons and using force.

"They looted their property – household appliances, gadgets, jewelry, antiquities, underwear, hygiene items and perfumes. The invaders also took money, food, alcohol from local residents," the PGO said.

The Russian military took the loot to Russia while retreating from the territory of Ukraine, it said.
