Another three killed civilians found in liberated territory of Kherson region

KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prosecutors continue to record war crimes in the liberated territories of Kherson region – three more bodies of civilians killed by the occupiers were found, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) has said.

"Prosecutors of Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, jointly with police officers and a forensic expert, found in the de-occupied territory of Kherson region the bodies of three civilians whose death was caused by the Russian military aggression," it said on the Telegram channel on Tuesday, November 8.

The PGO also said that, according to preliminary data, the deceased are local residents.

"Two of them were killed as a result of a shelling of the residential area by enemy forces. Signs of violent death were found on the body of the third person," it said.

According to the PGO, the bodies have been sent for a forensic medical examination. Investigative actions aimed at establishing the events of the crime are being conducted.

The pre-trial investigation continues on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
