As part of Procurement Review program, NATO experts to analyse Defense Ministry's purchases, offer improved system – Reznikov

KYIV. July 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has agreed with NATO Headquarters on the creation of the Procurement Review program, within the framework of which NATO experts will analyse the purchases of the Defense Ministry and possibly offer an improved system within nine to ten months, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said.

“We agreed with the NATO headquarters: after Vilnius, the Procurement Review program will begin, which NATO experts will do for us over the course of nine to ten months. Precisely everything that is related to procurement: analysis, assistance, training of people and access, perhaps, to an improved, modernized system. It will concern not only resource provision, but also weapons and military equipment,” he said during a press conference titled “How to implement an anti-corruption policy in the defense sector during the war?”

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine said the department is already cooperating with the NATO Procurement and Procurement Agency (NSPA), representatives of the Defense Ministry are participating in relevant trainings.
