Astarta to pay EUR 12.5 mln in dividends for 2022

KYIV. May 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The agricultural holding Astarta will pay dividends for 2022 in the amount of EUR 0.5 per share for a total amount of EUR 12.5 million.

According to the company’s message at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the meeting of shareholders approved the corresponding decision on Thursday.

It is indicated that dividends will be paid on June 16 to those shareholders who will be on the register as of June 2.

The shareholders also instructed the board of directors to negotiate with the current auditor of PricewaterhouseCoopers and its competitors Ernst & Young, KPMG, Deloitte & Touche and Baker Tilly and, depending on their results, appoint one of these firms as the company’s external auditor.

In addition, the shareholders approved the updated documents of the company in connection with the transfer of its registration from the Netherlands to Cyprus, previously approved by the board of directors, except for the remuneration policy.

As reported, Astarta paid EUR 12.155 million in dividends for the first time in June 2021 based on the results of work in 2020 in the same amount that is offered now – EUR 0.5 per share. In the military year of 2022, the company refused to pay them.
