By KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons positively reacted to the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of the law on the liquidation of District Administrative Court of Kyiv, saying that it is "a good day for judicial reform in Ukraine."
"So, an end to the District Administrative Court of Kyiv. A good day for judicial reform in Ukraine," she said on Twitter on Tuesday.
If the judges of the replacement court are appointed by competitive and open procedure through new High Qualification Commission of Judges and High Council of Justice then "even more cause for celebration to come," she said.
