Buses received by Kyiv from European partners go on routes – Klitschko

KYIV. Dec 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Buses received by Kyiv from European partners continue to enter the capital’s routes, mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko has said.

"From tomorrow, from December 2, some 18 Mercedes buses from those that the German cities of Munich, Zeven, Hannover and Regensburg gave us as assistance will already operate on the capital’s routes. These buses will run on routes Nos. 2, 22, and 56. About ten more German buses will be in operational reserve, ready to go to the busiest destinations," Klitschko wrote on his Telegram channel on Thursday.

He noted that the buses went through lengthy registration and certification procedures, received the necessary equipment for operation of an electronic ticket and GPS trackers, as well as audiovisual warning systems.
